Spring 25

A spring heat wave struck me out of the blues. In the last few weeks I’ve seen the white hot dust of Indio, humid greens of Dallas, and the dissipating grays of San Francisco. Working day and night, as we all bear witness to 2025’s waxing moons and blooming ruins. While everyone and their mother seems to be an “influencer”, I try to the avoid the influence of endless streams of news and abbrev’ed POVs. Still, I wish I had more time for reverie…

To the mamas, to the May Day martyrs, to the media nerds and my multitudinous village - I'm thinking of you. I’m dreaming up a reality of peace and patience. I'm dreaming up a present where we let the little things go, and a day when we all turn off our phones. I’m dancing in a new era of gratitude for the paths we cross, the people we meet, even the dudes we call boss. I'm daring myself to finish thoughts before they drift off [and to finish my edits before another Pre-Pro meeting kicks off]. I'm lucky to bring little visions to life. Tiny fantasies and dreams to our small screens. Excited to share that recent work, if you have a minute to travel with me.

Boot Goofin' --
I spent five gauzy and golden days at Stagecoach festival, capturing content for their official boot sponsor. Fun to bring these hardworking boots to all the California cowgirls.
Geniuses at Ariat International brought in the Reno 911 and New Boot Goofin' -famous comedian to be the face of Ariat for April fools day. It was a challenge to keep a straight face while shooting the hilarious improv that ensued.
Also at Ariat, we set up a new social studio! Putting a sander to denim and screwdrivers to soles, we debuted infotainment episodes with their experts on workwear.
Healing//Harmony --
There's magic in Sonoma County, and one of its gems is Osmosis Day Spa. I got to interview the people who work in service of that spark. The way they channel the energy of the land inspires a great lightness in me. Believe it? Or see for yourself.
Music is healing too. The Virgin Mary's latest album dropped a minute ago, but this song is still spinning in my head. Tour video shot and edited by moi, but these guys' talent and energy is a dream come true.
Media can transport us to the most beautiful places. I could almost feel the warm breeze while editing this piece for the Four Seasons Maui. Footage by the talented Joseph Weaver and Colin Peck.
Thanks to y'all for the faraway support and near at hand work that's keeping me busy as a bee. I hope this brief letter pollinates new ideas among your many branches and leaves. Hope you all have a sweet sweet summer. Keep dreaming!!
